EFFECTIVE JULY 28, 2026 · VERSION 1.0
Summary
GTA VI Guide: Cheats & Maps works without an account. Checklist progress, notes, favourites, timers, preferences and backups are stored locally on your device. The app does not sell your private notes or upload them for analytics.
Information stored on your device
- Checklist completion and location-found status.
- Saved cheats, guides, checklist items and GTA VI updates.
- Personal notes, timer settings and GTA Online planning values.
- Theme, notification and privacy preferences.
- Local diagnostic events and short crash records, only when applicable.
You can export a JSON backup, restore a backup after a confirmation, or clear app data through Android settings. Removing the app normally removes its local data unless you kept an exported backup.
Advertising and consent
The free app is designed to use Google AdMob for banner, app-open, interstitial and rewarded advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, ad interactions and diagnostics according to your region and consent choices.
The app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform where a consent message is required. Ads are not requested until the consent SDK reports that requests are allowed. A “Manage advertising privacy choices” control is available in Settings when Google provides a form. Rewarded ads are optional; basic cheats and checklists do not require a reward.
Usage analytics and crash diagnostics
Usage analytics are off by default. If you enable them, the current app version stores a limited event history locally so feature use can be diagnosed without sending personal notes or free-form text. Short crash records may be kept locally to help explain an error. No third-party analytics or crash-reporting account is active in the current release configuration.
Notifications
Notifications are optional and require Android permission. The app can schedule reminders you choose, such as a GTA VI countdown milestone or a personal GTA Online timer. The current app schedules these locally on your device. You can disable notification categories in the app or Android settings.
Remote content and network requests
The app may download a small validated configuration file to correct the GTA VI release date, content version and advertising frequency. It keeps bundled and cached fallback content for offline use. The remote file does not require an account and does not contain your notes or checklist progress.
Opening an official source, trailer, privacy policy or support link sends you to your browser, where the destination site’s privacy policy applies.
Permissions
- Notifications: used only for reminders and timers you enable.
- Network access: used for ads, consent, remote configuration and links you open.
- Advertising ID: may be accessed by Google Mobile Ads when available and permitted.
- File access through the system picker: used when you choose to export or restore a backup.
The app does not request contacts, microphone, camera or precise location access.
Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you reset it, clear app storage or uninstall the app. Exported backups remain wherever you save them. Ad providers retain data under their own policies and your consent choices. The app has no user account, so there is no server-side app profile for us to delete.
Children
This companion is intended for the audience of the supported games and is not designed for children. It does not knowingly collect children’s personal notes or create profiles.
